2014 (Junior):  Alexander's season was cut short due to injury, but he still managed to finished a pair of decathlon's in the outdoor season and his first heptathlon during the indoor season.  He held the school record in the decathlon for a month after accumulating 5,887 points at the UIW Invitational.  He was later passed by teammate Ryan Haese at the Southland Conference Championships.  Prior to the season, Alexander had been a pole vaulter and hurdler for the team.  He went over 13-11 in the pole vault in both decathlons he competed in and also broke 16 seconds in the 110 hurdles on two occasions.  He showed surprising speed in the 100 meters with a time of 11.20 at the UIW Invitational.

2013 (Sophomore):  Alexander competed in the 55 meters and pole vault during the indoor season.  He cleared 14-0 in the pole vault during the outdoor season at four meets, including a 14-11 clearance at Trinity, the fourth best in school history.  He took sixth place at the Lone Star Conference Championship with a 14-6 clearance.  At the same Trinity meet, he ran the 400 hurdles in a time of 57.31, #3 in school history.  He was second in the 400 hurdles at the UIW Invitational with a time of 57.64.

2012 (Freshman):  Alexander was a sprinter and pole vaulter for the Cardinals.  He had a season best clearance in the pole vault at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a height of 14-10.25 to take third place.

High School:  Alexander was on the football, soccer and track teams at Bowie High School.  He set the school records in the pole vault (15-0) and in the 300-meter hurdles (38.4).  He was a three-time district champion in track and field.

Personal:  Alexander is the son of Eduardo and Deborah Alexander and is studying engineering management with a minor in math.  He has a sister, Deborah.  He was born on March 29, 1992 in Monterrey, Mexico.
