Biography
2017 (Freshman): Gallegos competed in the 60, 110, and 400 meter hurdles as a first year Cardinal. The hurdle specialist posted his best time in the 60m hurdles (8.79) at the J.D. Martin Invitational. He added his name to the record book in both 110 and 400 meter hurdles during the outdoor season. Gallegos recorded his best time in the 400HÂ (57.01) at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational.
High School: Gallegos was named First Team All-District, while his 4x200 relay team earned All-Region accolades. He garnered Academic All-State and Academic All-Region honors.
Personal: Gallegos is the son of Lucy and David Gallegos and is studying rehab science. He has two sisters, Sabrina and Marissa, and one brother, Oscar. He was born on December 16, 1997.
