University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Junior):  McDonnough ran the 200 and 400 meters while also serving as the third leg on the 4x400 relay team.  He set a personal record in the 400 meters with a time of 49.42 at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight.  It puts him #5 on the all-time UIW charts.  The 4x400 relay team were winners at the same meet clocking a 3:16.68.  They finished sixth in the Lone Star Conference.

2012 (Sophomore):  McDonnough was a mainstay on the 4x400 relay team that was third at the LSC Indoor Invitational and sixth at the LSC Outdoor Championships.  The relay team won the 4x400 at the Trinity Alumni Classic meet.

2011 (Freshman):  McDonnough ran the 200 and 400 meters while also running a leg on both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams.  The 4x400 team took second place at Rice Bayou Classic and was third at the LSC Outdoor Championships.

High School:  McDonnough was on the football, track and water polo teams at Calhoun High School.  He was a State qualifier in the 4x400-meter relay and was on the school record team.  In water polo he holds school records for most goals scored in a match (8) and most goals in a season (39).

Personal:  McDonnough is the son of Kerry and Ester McDonnough and is studying rehabilitative sciences.  He has a brother, Corey, who is also on the UIW track team.
