Biography
2013 (Sophomore): Martinez showed great improvement in both the hammer and discus. He had his best performance at the Lone Star Conference Championships throwing the hammer 140-0 and the discus 141-0.
2012 (Freshman): Martinez competed in the javelin and discus in his first year with the Cardinals. He was seventh at the Trinity Alumni Classic in the discus.
High School: Martinez was on the track and basketball teams at Antonian Prep. He was a twotime- State Runner-Up in the discus at the TAPPS 5A Championships as a junior and senior.
Personal: Martinez is the son of Andrew Martinez and Angie Spinks and is stuyding physical therapy. He was born on July 11, 1993.
