Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll
2017 (Sophomore): Leuthner placed eighth in the 60m at the indoor conference championships. He ran a new PR of 6.83, which is the second fastest time in school history. Leuthner had a solid day of competition at the UIW Cardinal Quadrangle when he claimed top three finishes in 100,200, LJ, and 4x100 relay.
2016 (Freshman): Leuthner joined the Cardinal squad as a sprinter-jumper. He placed third in the long jump at the J.D. Martin Invitational. During the outdoor season he competed in the 100, 200, long jump and made appearances on the 4x100 relay. He won the 100m at the UIW Private Quad Invite with a personal best time of 10.77. Leuthner recorded a season's best leap in the long jump (23-2) at the UIW Cardinal Invitational. He wrapped up his first year with an eighth place finish in 100m at the outdoor conference championships.
High School: Leuthner was on the football and track teams at Copperas Cove High School. He finished 10th at the AAU Junior Olympics in 2014 in the 100 meters with a time of 10.74. His career best time was 10.70 in the 100. He was on the fifth place team at the AAU Junior Olympics in the 4x100-meter relay. He was a member of DECA. He coordinated Copperas Coves High School's community service project Back Pack Program. He held numerous food drives and collected over 1,835 pounds of non-perishable food.
Personal: Leuthner is the son of Adrian and Yoshiko Leuthner and is studying business administration. He has a sister, Tiffany. He was born on December 18, 1996 in Yokosuka, Japan where he lived for the first five years of his life.
