Biography

2012 (Junior):  Narvaez earned All-America honors in the 4x100-meter relay and was named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team.  He was on the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.  He was on the winning 4x100-meter relay team and took second place in the triple jump at the UIW Invitational.  The 400 relay team took second place at the Cactus Cup, Trinity Alumni Classic and Bobcat Classic and was third at the LSC Outdoor Championships.

2011 (Sophomore):  Narvaez was a regular member of the 4x100 relay team that finished seventh at the LSC Championships.  He narrowly missed scoring in the triple jump at the LSC Championships by finishing in ninth.  The relay team won the Trinity Tiger Relays.

2010 (Freshman):  In his first year, Narvaez did not compete during the indoor season, but took second in the 100 meters in his first outdoor meet at the UIW Invitational.  He took third in the 100 meters and was third in the 400-meter relay at the Cactus Cup.

High School:  Narvaez was on the track and soccer teams at Incarnate Word Academy in Corpus Christi, TX.  He was a three-time State qualifier in track.  He finished in fifth place in the triple jump and seventh place in the long jump at the TAPPS 4A State Meet as a senior.

Personal:  Narvaez is the son of Orlando and Josie Narvaez and is studying rehabilitative sciences.  He has a brother, A.J.  He has been a member of the UIW Dean's List and is a member of the Pre-Physical Therapy Society.
