2015-16 (Freshman): Bendana played at #1 and #3 singles for the Cardinals. He was 10-13 overall, and 1-4 in the Southland Conference. He and Josip Smoljan paired up for doubles and finished with a 10-4 record, and 2-1 in conference.

High School: Bendana was on the tennis team at New Braunfels High School. He was a State Semi-finalist in doubles play as a senior.

Personal: Bendana is the son of Esteban Bendana and Mara Navarrete and is studying business administration with a minor in sports management. He has twin brothers, Andres and Eduardo. He is originally from Nicaragua.
