2024-2025: Panos dominated from start to finish again this year. He was named MPSF Swimmer of the Week twice this season and made it on the All-Academic Team. At the Art Adamson Invite Panos set three records at one meet in the 500, 1,000 and the mile. He finished the season by winning all three of his individual events, the 500, the mile, and the 400 IM, giving him First Team All-Confernce honors. 

2023-2024: Made the 2024 MPSF All-Academic Team and was named to the MPSF First Team. Panos was the Cardinals most dominant swimmer starting in the fall semester. The Delta State Invitational Vlachogiannakos set a new pool and meet record in the 500 free (4:21.93) the 400 IM (3:48.37). He also set the new pool, meet, and UIW record in both the 1,000 (9:02.25) and the 1650 (14:56.56) becoming the first UIW swimmer under 15 minutes in the mile and earning swimmer of the meet. His performance helped Panos win MPSF Swimmer of the Week late in December. At MPSF championships Panos was first in the 400 IM (3:48.59), first in the 500 free (4:22.30) and second in the mile (15:17.92).

Prior to UIW: Vlachogiannakos claimed two gold medals (400 IM, 200 breaststroke) and one silver (200 IM) at the National Junior Championship in 2020 … placed second at the National Championship of Men in the 400 IM (2020) … took home gold at the National Junior Championships (2019) in the 400 IM … claimed bronze in two events (400 IM, 1500 freestyle) at the Balkan Junior Championship (2019).
 
Personal: Panagiotis (Panos) Vlachogiannakos is the son of Maria Iliadou and Dimitrios Vlachogiannakos … has one brother Christos … cousin Andreas Vazaios, who swam for NC (13x All-American, 4x NCAA Champion), is an Olympic swimmer for Greece who claimed gold at the European Championships in the 200 IM setting the record … is pursuing a degree in kinesiology … hopes to represent Greece in the Olympics … hails from Pireaus, Greece … was born on June 4, 2002 in Athens, Greece.
