2014-15 (Sophomore):  Morgun swam every freestyle distance and had success at most.  At the UIW Christmas Invitational he took third in the 100 freestyle and second in the 200 freestyle.  He won the 500 and 1000 freestyle events against Southwestern.  He nabbed a pair of second place finishes in the 200 and 500 freestyle events against Trinity.  At the CCSA Championships he was fifth in the 500 freestyle and sixth in the 200 freestyle.  He earned all-conference honors in the 800 freestyle relay after swimming the anchor leg of the runner-up squad.  That relay team was also second at the CSCAA National Invitational.  He swam on the 400 freestyle relay team that finished second at the UIW Christmas Invitational and third at the CSCAA meet.

2013-14 (Freshman):  Morgun joined the team in the second half of the year and came through with some important points at the CCSA championships.  He finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle and fourth in the 500 free.  He added a 10th place finish in the 1650 free.  It was the only meet he swam in all year.

High School:  Morgun graduated from Special School N118 that is known as Vsesvit in 2012.  He was a member of the national swim team in Ukraine and was a 6-time champion of Europe in dragon boat.  He helped lead Ukraine to a sixth place finish in the Junior European championships.

Personal:  Morgun is the son of Valerii and Veronika Morgun and is studying business administration with a minor in international business.  He has a brother, Andrii.  He was born on May 7, 1995.
