Biography
2011-12 (Freshman): Rios capped off a solid freshman year with a pair of all-conference awards. He earned Second Team all-RMAC in the 1-meter springboard and third team honors in the 3-meter springboard. He had a total of six top-three performances throughout the season.
High School: Rios was a diver at McAllen High School. He was a three-time team MVP and earned All-State honors after winning a state title. He helped lead the team to a pair of State meet appearances.
Personal: Rios is the son of David Rios and Joyce Zeldis and is studying engineering management with a minor in math. He has seven siblings; Aleck, Justin, Johnathan, Rick, Lisa, Mike and Arron. He was born on December 4, 1992.
