University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2011-12 (Sophomore):  Knox was a CSCAA Scholar All-American, an RMAC All-Academic Second Team selection and a member of the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.  He swam four individual events and one relay at the NCAA Division II National Championship meet.  He earned Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 400-yard freestyle relay.  While he did not earn All-America honors in any individual event, he swam his best times of the year in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard individual medley at the championship meet.

2010-11 (Freshman):  Knox was an ironman in the pool for the Cardinals making a total of 27 individual swims throughout the season.  He had his best meet of the season in Mansfield where he set season bests in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle events.  He finished in second in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 46.81 and anchored the winning 800-yard freestyle relay team at the meet.

High School:  Knox swam at Mountain View High School in Arizona.  He was both an All-American and an Academic All-American.  He led the team to a State Runner-Up finish.

Personal:  Knox is the son of Jayson and Tracy Knox and is studying management information systems with a minor in accounting.  He has three siblings; Seth, Daniel and Anneliese.  He was born on May 25, 1992.
