Andrii Nikishenko

Andrii began his time at UIW as a member of the swim team. In 2016 he became a vouleteer assistant coach for the UIW swim team until he was hired on as an offical assistant coach in 2021. During this time he coached numerous CCSA team and individual champions as well as international champions.  In the winter of 2022, he was promoted and took over as the Interim Head Coach for the Cardinals.

In his first season as Interim Head Coach Andrii lead the Cardinals in their first season competing in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF). UIW men’s team finished fourth overall in the meet and had 11 student-athletes make the all-conference team.

- 2014 Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Conference Championship: 1st place; 200y Medley Relay

- 2014 CCSA Conference Championship: 1st place 400y Medley Relay

- 2014 CCSA Conference Championship: 2nd place 100y Butterfly
