Storvik is in his third year with the Incarnate Word swimming & diving program. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he was a four-year letterman and two-time All-American. His best events were the 200-meter freestyle, 200-meter backstroke and sprint freestyle relays.
Storvik has played an important role in the Cardinals swimming program. In his first year, the women finished fourth in NCAA Division II and the men finished third in NCAA Division II. In his second season, the program made the jump to NCAA Division I and the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association. In 2013-14, the UIW men won the conference title in their first year as a Division I program.
