Biography
2024-2025: Was named First Team All-Conference after being a member of the winning 200 free relay. Amechi also finished top 10 in the top 10 in both the 50 and 100 free at MPSF Championship. He finished the season by being named to the All-Academic Team.
2023-2024: Made the 2024 MPSF All-Academic Team and was named to the MPSF Second Team. Amechi broke 20 seconds in the 50 free several times at MPSF championships with his best time being 19.47. Nawaeze made his mark as a member of the 400 free (2:55.04) and 200 medley (1:27.25) relays, both placing third and setting new UIW records at conference.
Personal: Majoring in cyber security. Parents are Emeka and Rhonda Nwaeze. He has four siblings.
