University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2014-15 (Junior):  Tipton focused more on the breaststroke and individual medley races in his junior campaign.  He made it past the prelims in three different events at the CCSA Championships and finished in seventh place in the 200 breaststroke.  He was second in the 200 breaststroke at the UIW Christmas Invitational.  All of his times dropped considerably from the previous season.

2013-14 (Sophomore):  Tipton swam a variety of events in his first year with the program including sprint freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke and individual medley.  He swam his best at the CCSA Championships, but was unable to make the finals in any event.

Previous:  Tipton was a member of the swim team at the Air Force Academy.

High School:  Tipton was a member of the swim team at Mansfield High School.  He was a four-year letterwinner and earned All-American honors.  He swam for the Mansfield Aquatic Club team.

Personal:  Tipton is the son of Craig and Dana Tipton and is studying mathematics.
