2015-16 (Sophomore): Moran continued to impress his team as he was named one of the CCSA Scholar All-Americans. He swam a variety of events from the 100 backstroke to the 500 freestyle where he finished sixth with a time of 4:32.98.

2014-15 (Freshman): Moran had an outstanding freshman season for the Cardinals. He received all-CCSA honors in the 200 backstroke, 400 individual medlay and 800 freestyle relay. He earned CCSA Swimmer of the Week honors once during the season.  He posted his best times of the season at the CCSA championships in the 500 freestyle (4:30.14), 200 backstroke (1:46.96) and the 400 IM (3:55.65).  He was the 200 backstroke champion in the CCSA championships and picked up a bronze medal in the 400 individual medley at the same meet.

High School: Moran was a member of the Louis D. Brandeis High School swim team. He was an All-American and holds school records in the 500-yard freestyle, 1650-yard freestyle, 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard fly and the 200-yard and 400-yard individual medley. He was the team captain and was a State qualifier in his sophomore, junior and senior years.  He was a State champion in the 200 free relay and runner-up in the 200 IM and 400 free relay.  He was also on the Honor Roll. 

Personal: Moran is the son of Daniel and Alejandra Moran and is studying mathematics and computer information systems. He has two siblings, Daniel and Michelle. He was born on October 7, 1995.  His brother swam at UT-Permian Basin.  He is a member of the Math Club and Pi Mu Epsilon.  He volunteers with San Antonio Youth Literacy, the San Antonio Food Bank and Light the Way.
