University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Junior): After transferring from Richland Community College, Pinal had a great debut season for the Cardinals. He led the team with five goals and five assists in only 15 matches, where he scored a pair of game-winning goals during the season, including one in overtime. He opened up his scoring ledger with a two-goal performance at Central Arkansas to lead the team to a 4-3 win.  He dished out two assists in a loss at Dayton and a win at Georgia State.  He pounded home two goals, including the game-winner at Belmont.  He was named to the Independent All-Conference First Team and was named the College Sports Madness Independent Player of the Week, twice. He was also named the College Sports Madness Independent Offensive Player of the Year.

Previous: Pinal played two seasons at Richland Community College where he was a two-time NJCAA Division III First Team All-American. In his sophomore season he scored five goals and had nine assists in only 12 games. He tallied nine goals and four assists during his freshman season.

High School: Pinal was on the soccer team at Skyline High School. He was the team MVP and a first team all-district selection.

Personal: Pinal is the son of Victor and Nancy Pinal and is studying Spanish with a minor in education. He has a brother, Kevin and a sister, Maria. He was born on March 21, 1992 in Monterrey, Mexico.
