Before UIW: Earned his associates degree at Lackawanna College.

High School: Flores played in three sports at Vela High School: soccer, track, and football. In soccer, he was a member of the All-Star team and was a two-time All-District selection. In football, he was named All-District, Top Hand Award, and an All-Star selection. He was a state qualifier in the 4x200m relay team and was a district champion in the long jump. In the classroom, he was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, was on the Debate Team, and did community service at the local food bank. He was a member of the AB Honor Roll.

Personal: Flores is the son of Robert and Andrea Flores and is majoring in sports management with a minor in business. His father played college football. He has one brother, Hunter.
