2017-2018 (Junior): He played 23 games with 12 as a starter. He averaged 17.7 minutes a game. He averaged 8.4 points a game, 3.6 rebounds a game. He scored 20 plus points twice, and a career-high with 21 points against UTEP. 

2016-17 (Sophomore): Socks appeared in 28 games with 21 starts. He shot 46 percent from the floor. Socks averaged 15.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. He capped off the season with 26 steals and 14 blocks earning Honorable Mention All-Conference.

2015-16: Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll

2015-16 (Freshman): Socks played in all 29 games with five starts. He averaged 5.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. He scored a career high 15 points in the season finale against Houston Baptist, where he also played in a high of 30 minutes. He pulled down a personal best seven rebounds twice, at McNeese and against Lamar. He registered 16 blocks, 11 steals, and 10 assists. He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School:  Socks played basketball at Coppell High School and at Bridgton Academy.  He averaged 14 points and six rebounds per game in his one season at Bridgton Academy.  Prior to that, he attended and graduated from Coppell High School.  He was a three-time all-district player and averaged 13 points and seven rebounds his senior season.  He graduated from the distinguished achievement program at Coppell.

Personal:  Socks is the son of Emmanuel and Thalenta Socks and is studying computer information systems.  He has two brothers, Simisani and Sibusiso.  He was born on March 20, 1996 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
