University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2014 (Junior): In his first season at UIW, Buehler made twelve appearances and started in three games in the midfield for the Cardinals.  He played a season high 69 minutes at High Point.  He fired a season high two shots at Grand Canyon.

Previous:  Buehler played two years of soccer at University of Tampa.  He played in 12 games in 2013 and made three starts.  He helped the team to an NCAA Division II tournament appearance in 2012.  He was a two-time member of the Sunshine State Conference All-Academic Team.

High School:  Buehler was a three-year letter winner in soccer at St. Louis University High School.  He was a frist team all-conference choice as a senior when he led his team with 10 goals and 13 assists.  He played on the 2009 and 2010 Missouri Final Four teams.  He was a three-year Academy player for Saint Louis Scott Gallagher under coach Tim Leonard.  He made the U18 Academy playoffs in 2011.

Personal:  Buehler is the son of Mark and Suzy Buehler and is studying marketing.  He has a brother, Danny and a sister, Lily.  He was born on August 11, 1993.  His father played soccer at Rollins College and his cousin, Joe Willis, is a goalkeeper for D.C. United.
