University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Sophomore): Taylor played in 12 out of 15 games for the Cardinals in his sophomore year, with an injury preventing him from playing in the closing games of the season. He scored a total of two goals, with his first in an important 2-0 victory against UC-Riverside and his second against Mercer University. He was named onto the College Sports Madness Independent All-Conference Second Team.

2012 (Freshman): Taylor played in 19 games and made 18 starts during the season and finished the year as the team's top scoring forward with four goals and three assists. He scored his first career goal in a 4-0 win over Our Lady of the Lake. He scored the game-winning goal and had two assists in a 5-0 win over Ouachita Baptist. He scored his second game-winning goal of the season in a 3-2 win at #17 West Texas A&M with less than 15 minutes remaining in regulation. He earned Lone Star Conference First Team honors and started all three NCAA Division II Playoff games.

Previous: Taylor appeared in one match at Oral Roberts before taking a red-shirt in 2011.

High School: Taylor was on the football and soccer teams at Plano West High School. He scored seven goals and had four assists in half a season as a senior earning second team all-district honors. He played on Club Bolivar playing in the Dallas Cup as well as traveling to La Paz, Bolivia.

Personal: Taylor is the son of Dr. Alfred and Norma Taylor and is studying business management. He has four siblings; Ateshia, Alfred, Jr., Lorenzo and Angelo. He was born on May 19, 1993.
