University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

High School:  Therrien led Byron Nelson High School to the 2014 Texas 4A State title and a District 5-6A title in 2015.  He was the Texas State Tournament MVP and earned All-State honors as a junior when he posted a 0.48 goals against average.  As a senior he was the District 5-6A Goalkeeper of the Year and the DFW Defensive Player of the Year as named by the Dallas Morning News.  He recorded a 0.43 goals against average as a senior and recorded a school record 35 shutouts in his career.  He played for the FC Dallas Premier 97 club team.  They finished second in the US Youth Soccer League National Championships in 2014 and he had a 0.69 goals against average.  The club team is currently ranked #1 in the nation and he has a 0.65 GAA.  The national championships will take place in Tulsa in July 2015.  He played for the USSDA Solar Chelsea U16 team that took second at the Academy National Championships.  He earned Olympic Development Program North Texas State first team honors in 2012.  He was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Therrien is the son of Chris and Laura Therrien and is studing international business.  He has a pair of brothers, Zach and Trevor.  He was born on October 29, 1996.
