2014-15 (Junior): Â Wylie was the only player on the team to tee it up for all 29 rounds during the season. Â He fired a pair of rounds of par or better on the season, his first and last. Â He saved his best golf for the final tournament of the year, the PGA Minority Collegiate Championships. Â He posted a final round 3-under par 69 to finish in second place overall and lead the team to a runner-up finish. Â He finished seventh at the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate as the Cardinals finished in a tie for first place. Â He picked up another top-10 finish at the Litz Memorial Tournament hosted by UIW at The Republic Golf Course. Â He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Â Wylie played all 24 rounds and edged out Austin Jordan to post the lowest scoring average on the team, 74.8. Â He had a relatively slow start to the season, but then finished in the top 20 in the final six tournaments of the year, including 16th at the Southland Conference Championship. Â His best finish came at Cameron where his 74-71=145 left him in third place. Â He posted a 3-under par 141 at Texas A&M-Commerce's tournament and finished in 10th place. Â He was fourth at the UIW Litz Memorial Tournament with 225 strokes over 54 holes. Â He was the most consistent player on the team and did not have a round higher than 79. Â He had five rounds of par or better. Â He was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2012-13 (Freshman): Wylie played in 25 competitive rounds for that Cardinals in his freshman year and posted a scoring average of 76.4. The St. Mary's Tournament was a personal best as he scored a 3-under par 69, a 1-under par 71 and level par 72. He had three top-10 finishes on the year at the St. Mary's, Texas A&M International and UIW Tournaments. He finished in 22nd place at the Lone Star Conference Championships and he was named onto the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.Â
High School: Wylie earned three varsity letters in golf at Boerne High School. He was a three-time team captain and team MVP. As a senior, he won the regional tournament to qualify individually for the State tournament. He was a First Team All-Region IV 3A golfer as a senior and three-time all-district performer. He led the team to a third place finish at regionals as a senior. He was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Wylie is the son of Mac and Joan Wylie and is studying accounting. He has a brother, Caden, who is on the UIW golf team, and a sister, Cara. He was born on February 9, 1994.
