Biography

2014-15 (Baseball): Triebes served as the team's backup catcher as a freshman in 2014. He appeared in 20 games and started 15 for the Cardinals. He had multi-hit games in back-to-back days against Northwestern State. He drove in two runs against Abilene Christian. He had 102 chances behind the plate without commiting an error. He thew out 12 base-stealers out of 39 attempts.  He was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.  In 2015, he played in 10 games early in the season and hit .321 in 28 at bats.

High School: Triebes played baseball at the Hendrickson High School. In 2011 and 2012 he was a member of the all-district honorable mention team and was Academic All-State in his senior year. In 2012 and 2013 he was the team defensive MVP.  He led the team to three straight District 25-4A titles.  He played in the Arizona Senior Fall Classic All-Academic Game that required at least a 3.75 GPA.  He was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Triebes is the son of Phil and Margaret Triebes and has a sister, Katie. He is studying business administration and was born on August 4,1995.
