2018 (Sophomore): Competed in four events including the Saints Invitational where he placed 8.th, his best of the season … ran a personal best in the 4 mile (21:15.1) in the team win at the Ken Garland Invitational.
 
2017 (Freshman): Did not see action.
 
High School: Competed in both cross country and track at Edinburg North... won the Region 4-G Meet in the 3200m with a time of 9:20.39, setting a new PR in the process... was also victorious in the Steve Stark Relays with a time of 9:48.17. In cross country, Nava earned a Top-10 finish at the Nike Cross Nationals South Regional with a 16:30.26 clocking... personal records include: 4:24.68 in the 1600m, 9:20.39 in the 3200m, 16:57.50 in the 3 mile, and 15:45.30 in the 5k... was a three-time regional qualifier in cross country and a state qualifier in 2015. In track, he was a three-time area qualifier and a two-time regional qualifier. In the 3200m, he was a regional champion and state qualifier as a senior... was a member of the National Honor Society, Class President, A Honor Roll, and Student Council. 

Personal: Nava is the son of Aldo and Olga and is studying vision science. He has two sisters, Steffanie and Carolina. He was born on May 14, 1999 in McAllen, Texas.
