University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Junior):  A former Marine sergeant, Everding played in the first six games and started three before suffering a season-ending injury.  He was a key cog on an offensive line that was blocking for one of the youngest backfields in the nation.

Previous:  Everding resumed his football career at San Diego Mesa College in 2011 after serving four years of active duty in the Marines. He was deployed twice to Iraq in 2007, and saw combat as a forward observer for an artillery unit.  He was a two-way starter at SDMC and earned the team's Ironman Award each year.

High School:  Everding was a standout in football at Century High School in Bismarck, ND.  He was an all-region offensive lineman and all-conference defensive lineman.

Personal:  Everding is studying kinesiology with a minor in psychology.  He is the son of Dennis Everding and Connie Hughes and was born on January 30, 1986.  He has a brother, Tyler.
