University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2014 (Freshman) : Strubel was one of the top ten finishers in her first race as a true freshman in the Alamo City Opener 4K, in 8th place with a 15:43.31 time.  Strubel finished 37th in 22:55.6 at the Southland Conference Championships 6K, helping the Cardinals to come in sixth place. She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School:  Strubel was a member of the track and cross country teams at Leander High School.  She was a Region 4-4A finalist in the 800 meters as a senior.  She has personal records of 2:21 in the 800 meters and 5:21 in the 1600 meters.

Personal:  Strubel is the daughter of Richard and Erin Strubel and is studying biology.  She has a brother, John and she was born on June 29, 1996.
