Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll
2015 (Junior):  Duron was the team's every day second baseman and posted a strong .958 fielding percentage.  She cracked a two-run homer against Sam Houston State in an early season game.  She had two hits, a home run and three RBI's against UTSA.  She struggled to hit for most of the season, but finished the year on the upswing going 12-for-34 over the final 14 games of the season.  She had three multi-hit games during that period, including a 2-for-3 game with two runs, an RBI and a double against Prairie View A&M.  She was an NFCA Scholar Athlete and was on the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Previous: Duron played two seasons at McLennan Community College. In her first season, she was second team all-donference and made the Texas Junior College Softball Coaches Association All-Star team as an outfielder.  In 2014, she earned first team all-conference as a catcher.  With her help, MCC made two regional tournament appearances, was labeled No.1 in the nation, and finished the 2014 season as the conference champions. 
High School: Duron was on the basketball and softball teams at Pasadena Memorial High School.  As a sophomore, she made the honorable mention all-district. As a junior and a senior, she was first team all-district. She finished her career with four playoff appearances, a team MVP award, and the Golden Glove Award.  
Personal: Duron is the daughter of Joe and Elizabeth Duron and is studying sociology with a minor in kinesiology. She has one sister, Rachel.  She was born on July 28, 1994.  She is a volunteer softball coach during the summer.
