Biography
2015-16 (Sophomore): Kyselova was named swimmer of the week this season and won numerous duel meet races. She swam almost any event but stared in the 200 freestyle, 400 IM, and 1650 freestyle. Alona also help advance her team on many relay legs in both duel meets and at the CCSA Conference Championship meet.
2014-15 (Freshman): Kyselova was one of the top swimmer for the Cardinals. She participated in many events, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and the individual medley. She won the 200-yard freestyle at the CSCAA Invitational in 1:49.13. She posted a time of 16:43.22 in the 1650 freestyle at the CCSA championships which was good enough for second place. She won the 100 backstroke against Southwestern with a time of 1:00.16. She also won the 200 breaststroke at three different meets; the UIW Christmas Invitational (2:14.74), at CSCAA Invitational and at UC-San Diego. She finished in first place at the CCSA championships in the 200 IM with a time of 2:00.28 and the 400 IM with a time of 4:13.15. She earned all-CCSA honors in the 1650 freestyle, 200 IM and 400 IM. She was also named the CCSA Women's Most Outstanding Freshman of the Meet and was named a CSCAA Scholar All-American. She was named the CCSA Swimmer of the Week on December 23.
Previous: Kyselova attended Tarasa Shevchenko for a year. She spent her high school years at RBYFKA in Kiev.
Personal: Kyselova is the daughter of Vova and Alono Kyselov and is studying business administration. She was born on May 30, 1996.
