High School: He won first place at the 2016 District 26-6A championships in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.11. His PR in the event came the next meet, where he finished fifth at the District 25-26 Area Meet A with a time of 15.05. He posted seven Top-5 finishes that season in the event. He was the runner-up at the 2015 East Central Invitational in the 300m, where he was clocked at a PR-time of 45.83.
