Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll
2017 (Sophomore): Sepulveda ran a collegiate best time of 50.50 in the 400m. He ran the 400m leg on the Distance Medley Relay that broke the school record (10:00.17) and placed second at the indoor conference championships. Sepulveda had a solid performance at the the UIW Invitational. He crossed the line in 14.16 to finish fourth in the 110H. He added his name to the record book in the 400H as he rounded the track in the 54.16 to outlast competitors for first place.
2016 (Freshman): Sepulveda competed in the hurdles, 400m, and made appearances on the 4x400 relay for the Cardinal squad. He posted a best time of 9.17 in the 60H at the 2016 Houston Invitational and Multis. During the outdoor season he recorded a PR in the 400H (54.99) at the J Fred Duckett-Rice Twilight meet.
High School: Sepulveda was on the track team at O'Connor High School. He was the team's athlete of the year as a senior. He set the school record in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 38.18 and was a State qualifier. He was a two-time second academic all-district selection. He was the District 27-6A, Area 27-28 and Region 4 champion in the 300 hurdles. He finished seventh at the State meet.
Personal: Sepulveda is the son of Peter Sepulveda and Deborah Hammond and is studying biology/pre-pharmacy. He has three siblings; Ryan, Dominic and Cory. He was born on September 16, 1996.
