Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll

2014 (Freshman) : Moreno placed 15th in the Alamo City Opener 6K for is highest placement all season and a time of 20:29.7. He was the only runner to compete in the UTSA Ricardo Romo Classic 5K and finished 15th again with a 17:15.8 time. He was the third Cardinal to cross the finish line in the SLC Championships in 53rd place with a time of 26:10.  Moreno was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School:  Moreno was on the track and cross country teams at Del Rio High School.  He was a four-time State qualifier in cross country and earned Third Team honors.  He was an individual cross country district champion and helped lead the team to four top-10 performances at the State meet.  He was the Region champion at 1600 meters and qualified for the State meet.  He was the district champion at 3200 meters.  He was a member of the National Honor Society and boasted a 4.381 GPA.

Personal:  Moreno is the son of Cesar and Maria Moreno and is studying rehabilitative sciences.  He has two sisters, Dariela and Mariela.  He was born on December 14, 1995.
