Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2015 (Sophomore):  Williams was a valuable member of the UIW relay teams and competed in the sprint events.  She was also a solid long jumper for the team.  The 4x100-meter relay team ran the second fastest time in school history at Texas State, 45.77 and they finished eighth in the conference.  She was part of the school record setting 4x400-meter relay team that clocked a 3:49.74 at the UIW Invitational and was seventh in the conference.  She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014 (Freshman):  Williams ran a variety of sprint events for the Cardinals and even competed in the long jump as a true freshman.  The highlight of her indoor season was running the third leg on the sixth place Southland Conference 4x400 relay team that poasted a time of 3:52.51.  During the outdoor season she ran the 100, 200 and 400 meters and was also on the 4x400 relay team.  She capped off the season with a personal best in the 400 meters at the SLC outdoor meet with a time of 57.69.  The 4x400 team won the UTSA meet and finished second at the Trinity meet.  She was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School:  Williams was on the track team at Huntsville High School.  She was a district champion in the 100 meters and a Regional qualifier in the 100 and 200 meters.  She led the team to a district and Area championship and a third place finish in the State.  She was a member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.

Personal:  Williams is the daughter of Charlie and Allita Williams and is studing business administration with a minor in kinesiology.  She has two siblings, Candice and Sherilynn.  She was born on October 28, 1994.
