Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2016 (Sophomore): Mead opened the season outdoors  at the Trinity Open 2016 meet where she placed third in the 5,000 meters.  She finished sixth in the 10,000 meters at the 34th Annual Victor Lopez Classic and recorded personal best time of 37:38.62.

2015 (Freshman):  Mead ran at all four indoor meets during the season and ran in the 3000 and 5000 meters at the Southland Conference championships.  She was fourth in the 3K at her first career meet at University of Houston.  During the outdoor season her best performance came at the outdoor conference championships finishing eighth in the 10K with a time of 38:37.62.  She broke five minutes all three times she ran the 1500 meters and she was third in the 800 meters at the Trinity Tiger Relays.  She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School:  Mead was on the cross country and track teams at Newport Harbor High School. She set a cross country personal best at the Sunset League finals with a time of 18:52.  In track, she had personal records of 5:23 in the 1600 and 11:53 in the 3200 meters.

Personal:  Mead is the daughter of Margaret Walker Scavo and Norman Mead and is studying sociology.  She has two sisters, Melissa and Coleen.  She was born on May 21, 1996.
