Southland Conference Third Team (4x100)
2017 (Sophomore): Thomas ran a personal best time in the 200m at the UIW Cardinal Quadrangle. He broke 49 seconds in the 400m for the first time in his collegiate career at the J Fred Duckett Twilight meet and placed eighth. He bettered his time in the 100m to 10.88. At the outdoor conference championships, Thomas posted a new collegiate best time in the 400m (48.52). He also helped the men's 4x100 relay squad place third with a time of 40.48.Â
2016 (Freshman): Thomas opened the season with a third place finish in the 400m at the J.D. Martin Invitational. He ran a strong third leg to help the 4x400 relay place fourth at the indoor conference championships. During the outdoor season he competed in the 100, 200, 400, and 4x100 relay. He posted a collegiate best time of 10.90 in the 100m at the Texas State Bobcat Classic. Thomas ran the lead off leg on the 4x100 relay that recorded the second fastest time in school history (40.24). He ran a season's best time in the 400m (49.72) at the outdoor conference championships. Thomas contributed to a bronze medal finish by the 4x100 relay.
