Biography
2017 (Freshman): Cherin competed in the 400m, 800m and 1500 as a first year Cardinal. He recorded a season's best times in the 400 and 1500 at the UIW Invitational.
High School: Cherin is the Colorado state record holder in the 400m and 800m. He was a 1A state medalist in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, and 3200m. In 2016, he was the Colorado state 1A champion in the 200m, 400m, and 800m. He holds the school records in the 100m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and 5000m. In school, he was a member of the Engineering Club.
Personal: Cherin is the son of Essrea Cherin and Warren Young and is studying computer information systems. He was born on September 28, 1997.
