University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2017 (Senior): He appeared in 14 games and 11 were starts. He had two goals on the year in games against Oakland and CSU Bakersfield. In total he had 26 shots with seven on target. 

2016 (Junior): Laverde played in 14 games with 13 starts as a Cardinal.

Previous:  Laverde played two seasons at University of Central Florida.  As a freshman, he was named to the All-American Athletic Conference Rookie Team.  He started all 18 games in the midfield while scoring three goals and dishing out four assists.  He had a goal and two assists in a win over Georgia State.  He appeared in 10 matches as a sophomore.  He had a 4.0 GPA as a freshman.

High School:  Laverde attended Liberty High School.  He helped lead FC Dallas to the 2012 U18 Development Academy national championship and was a member of the U.S. U17 national team residency program.

Personal:  Laverde is the son of Luis Fernando Laverde and Adriana Torres and is studying criminal justice.  He has two siblings, Andres and Mauricio.  He was born on March 28, 1994.
