High School: Hennessy was homeschooled and swam for coach Derek Howorth.
Personal: Hennessy is the son of Karen and John Hennessy and has two siblings, Kathleen and Connor, who is also on the UIW Swim team. He is studying rehabilitative sciences and was born December 19, 1995 in North Dakota. Â He volunteers with San Antonio Youth Literacy. Â He can ride unicycles.
