2015 (Junior):  Swenson was one of the team's best offensive and defensive players.  She was the starting third baseman committing just three errors over her final 39 games.  She hit .319 and was second on the team with 13 multi-hit games.  Her first career hit was a solo home run against Tennessee State.  After a 4-for-28 start at the plate, whe went 7-for-11 over a four game stretch to get back on track.  She had two hits and cracked a home run at Northwestern State.  She posted a 7-game hitting streak in April going 12-for-20 with seven RBI's, six runs and two homers.  She had another stretch of four consecutive two-hit games at the end of April.  She led the team with 96 assists on defense.  She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous: Swenson played at Temple College for two years.  In 2013, she was a first team all-conference, an NJCAA and NFCA first team All-American and All-Region selection. She also was selected as the NTJCAAC Player of the Year.  In her sophomore year, she was a third team All-American. 

High School: Swenson was on the softball and volleyball teams at Elgin High School. She earned four years of varsity letters in softball and volleyball.  She led both teams to four playoff appearances.  She was first team All-Centex and District MVP as a senior.  She was the Bastrop County MVP in 2011 and 2012.  She was a four-time first team all-district and academic all-district selection in softball.

Personal: Swenson is the daughter of Randall and Melissa Swenson and is studying business administration. She has two siblings, Tyler and Trey. She was born on February 21, 1994.
