University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2014-15 (Freshman): Shedd competed in the freestyle, butterfly and individual medley events for the Cardinals. She finished in second place against Southwestern in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:31.09. She also placed second in the 1000 freestyle at Trinity with a time of 11:14.25. Her best times in the 500 freestyle and 400 IM came at the CCSA Championships with times of 5:12.21 and 4:37.95, respectively.  She posted top 10 times in school history in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle and the 400 IM.  She was named to the CCSA All-Academic Team as a freshman.

High School: Shedd was on the swim team at Judson High School. She was a district champion and regional qualifier. She was also the team caption and an Academic All-State member.  She helped lead the team to a district title.

Personal: Shedd is the daughter of William and Sue Shedd. She has three sisters, Nicole, Danielle and Aleya. She is studying biology and was born on April 19, 1996.
