2016- 17 (Senior): Johnson began the competition season injured when she fractured her ribs in October, forcing her to sit out of competition for a month. But she pushed through and ended her collegiate swimming career competing in the 200 butterfly finals at the CCSA championships in Athens, GA. She also swam in the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle events. Johnson ended her last semester of undergrad with a 4.0 GPA, earning her a spot on the CCSA Scholar All-America list and the UIW Dean's List. 

2015-16 (Junior) : Johnson competed in the 1650 freestyle, 200 butterfly and the 100 butterfly at the CCSA championships to end her Junior year. Her best time of the season was 2:09 in the 200 butterfly, never surpassing her best time of 2:07.73. She was apart of the Travel Team for every away meet and ended the season a member of the CCSA All -Academic Team.

2014-15 (Sophomore):  Johnson competed in the freestyle, backstroke and butterfly events for UIW. She finished in first place at Southwestern with a time of 2:15.18 in the 200 butterfly, despite her best time, 2:07.73, coming at Texas.  Her 58.49 time in the 100 butterfly helped her finish in third place at San Diego State.  She competed in the 1650 freestyle at the CCSA championships and finished with a time of 18:33.11, where she was named to the CCSA All-Academic Team.

2013-14 (Freshman):  Johnson did not compete in a meet for the Cardinals until the CCSA championships.  She swam the 50-yard freestyle and the 100 and 200 butterfly events.

High School:  Johnson was a member of the swim team at Cypress Ranch High School.  She was a State finalist and holds school records in the 200 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay and 100 butterfly.

Personal:  Johnson is the daughter of Ralph Johnson and Kelly McInnerney and is studying rehabilitation science.  She has a brother, Kevin.  She was born on February 22, 1995.
