CCSA All-Academic Team
2014-15 (Freshman): Coppock had a strong season as a true freshman swimming the distance freestyle, butterfly and individual medley events... was named to the CCSA All-Academic Team... was the CCSA champion in the 1650 free hitting the wall in 15:31.60. Early in the season, was the runner-up in the 1000 free against LSU and Texas A&M... was the runner-up in the 200 fly at the UIW Christmas Invite.
High School: Coppock was on the swim team at Johnson High School... was a 2013-14 USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and set school records in the 1000-yard freestyle, 200 butterfly, 100 fly and 500 free... was named the team's most valuable swimmer as a junior and senior... was named TISCA All-State Academic as a junior and senior and was named to the 2013 and 2014 NEISD Board of Trustees and Superintendents All-District Athletic Academic Team.
Personal: Coppock is the son of Rex and Kristen Coppock and is studying kinesiology. He has a sister, Katherine. He was born on December 8, 1995.
