University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013-14 (Sophomore):  El Hazzaz was able to start swimming competitively after the first semester and quickly became an important member of the team.  In his first meet, he won the 200-yard freestyle at the UIW Invitational in a time of 1:37.74, the fourth fastest time in school history.  At the CCSA championships he finished fourth in the 100 free and fifth in the 200 free.  He also picked up points in the 400 free and 800 free relays as both teams finished second in the conference while breaking the school records in the process.  At the season-ending CSCAA Invitational he finished third in the 200 free.

Previous: El Hazzaz previously attended Colorado Mesa University where he was a Division II All-American in the 200-yard freestyle.

High School: El Hazzaz attended the Al Jabr High School.

Personal: El Hazzaz is the son of Mohamed and Samira El Hazzaz and has two siblings, Yassine and Zineb. He is studying engineering management and was born on November 21, 1991.
