2014 (Junior):  Johnson earned Capital One Academic All-District VII and Southland Conference All-Academic first team honors.  She stole a career high 10 bases and scored at least 20 runs for the second time in her career.  She had 10 multi-hit games throughout the season.  She was 2-for-3 with four RBI's, a triple and a stolen bases in a win against Oklahoma Wesleyan.  She had a season high four hits in a win over Northwood.  She had two hits in both end of a doubleheader at UH-Victoria.  She had four hits and scored four runs in the first two home games against Abilene Christian.  She added a 3-for-5 performance late in the year at Prairie View A&M.  She finished the season a tick under .300.  She was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013 (Sophomore):  Johnson was the third leading hitter on the team with a .359 batting average.  She earned Capital One Academic All-District VI first team, Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team and LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll awards throughout the season.  She had her best game of the year against Texas A&M-International when she went 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI's and a double.  She posted another three-hit performance at Eastern New Mexico.  She started 34 games in the outfield and also made 11 appearances as a pinch runner.

2012 (Freshman):  Johnson started 12 games and made 27 appearances as a pinch runner throughout the year.  She was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll after posting a perfect 4.00 g.p.a. for the 2011-12 academic year.  She was 1-for-2 with a walk in her first career start against Texas A&M-International on Feb. 2.  She went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and a run scored at West Texas A&M on Apr. 6.  She was 10-for-36 at the plate and also scored 17 runs.  She scored the go-ahead run for the Cardinals against Angelo State in the LSC Championship game on Apr. 28.

High School:  Johnson was on the track, basketball and softball teams at Clemens High School.  She earned first team all-district honors and was a national scholar-athlete of the year as a senior.  She was on a district championship 4x100-meter relay team and was an academic all-district selection.

Personal:  Johnson is the daughter of Troy and Veronica Johnson and is studying biology/pre-med.  She has a brother, Troy.  She was born in at the Merced, CA Air Force Base.
