University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2012-13 (Freshman): Fedyna joined the team at the Christmas break and put together an outstanding half season. He earned RMAC Second Team honors in the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relay and Third Team honors in the 200 breaststroke and 400 medley relay. He nabbed CSCAA All-America honors in the 100 breaststroke and earned Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 200 breaststroke and 200 freestyle relay. He swam the second fastest time in school history in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events at the national meet.

High School: Fedyna was a Ukraine national prize winner and champion at Zaperigzhya Sport High School. He was the national student champion at Dniupopetrovsk State Academy.

Personal: Fedyna is the son of Mikail and Irina Fedyna and is studying psychology with a minor in communication arts. He has a brother, Alex. He was born on September 23, 1992.
