2014 (Junior):  Zepeda started the year as the team's starting centerfielder and finished as the starting shortstop.  She showed off the most power of her career when she switched from left-handed hitting to hitting from the right side.  She led the team with eight doubles and 23 runs scored.  She had a pair of 3-hit performances within the first four games of the year.  She had four hits and drove in four in a doubleheader against Abilene Christian.  She was 5-of-11 with three runs scores in the three game series with Nicholls.  She was named the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013 (Sophomore):  Zepeda was the team's lead-off hitter for the majority of the season.  She was hitting .360 as late as April 3 before closing out the season with a .301 batting average.  She had three hitting streaks of at least six games during the season.  She finished second on the team with 12 multi-hit games, including four games with three hits.  She had a season high three stolen bases against Southeastern Oklahoma.  She walked three times and scored twice at Abilene Christian in the second game of a doubleheader.  She went 3-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored against UT-Permian Basin.  She was 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI's against Texas A&M-International.  She led the team with 36 runs scored and eight stolen bases while committing only three errors in centerfield.  She was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2012 (Freshman):  Zepeda appeared in 39 games for the Cardinals with the majority coming as a pinch runner.  She was 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI at St. Mary’s on Apr. 18.  She scored 15 runs on the season.  She got a hit in her first career at bat against St. Mary’s on Feb. 11.

High School:  Zepeda played volleyball, golf, track, cross country and softball and was a cheerleader at Sinton High School.  She earned first team all-district honors four times.  She earned Academic All-State honors and was a Flint Hills Scholar-Athlete.  She was named Miss Sinton High School.

Personal:  Zepeda is the daughter of Christopher and Iris Zepeda and is studying biology.  She has a brother, CJ.  Her father played football and Eastern New Mexico.  She was born on March 16, 1993.
