University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Junior):  Dziuk continued to hold down the title of top UIW thrower.  He finished fifth in the weight throw at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championship with a toss of 52-11.5.  In the outdoor season he opened the year by setting the school record in the hammer with a toss of 182-3 at the UIW Invitational.  He nabbed fourth place in the event at the LSC Championship.  His best event was the discus in which he was a national finalist and just missed earning All-America honors.  He was the conference runner-up with a school-record throw of 178-1.  He earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the discus and hammer.  He was named the LSC Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the UIW Invitational.

2012 (Sophomore):  Dziuk was the top thrower for the Cardinals.  He provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the discus.  During the indoor season, he set the school record in the weight throw with a toss of 54-1 at the LSC Indoor Invitataional.  During the outdoor season he won the discus at the IBC Bank Cactus Cup and the Trinity Tiger Relays.  At the Trinity Alumni Classic he was second in the hammer and third in the discus.  He took fourth place at the LSC Outdoor Championships in the hammer.

2011 (Freshman):  Dziuk participated exclusively in the hammer and discus throws.  He just missed scoring at the LSC Championships taking ninth in the discus and 10th in the hammer.  He finished second in the discus at the Trinity Tiger Relays.

High School:  Dziuk was on the baseball, basketball, football, power lifting and track teams at Poth High School.  He was the State Runner-Up in the discus as a junior and the State Champion as a senior.  He was also the State Runner-Up in power lifting as a junior and State Champion as a senior.  He was the national runner-up in power lifting as a senior.

Personal:  Dziuk is the son of Joyce Dziuk and is studying engineering management.  He was born on December 4, 1991.
