2014-15 (Junior):  Hernandez competed in freestlye, backstroke and butterfly for the Cardinals. She finished third place in the 100 freestlye at the Trinity Invitational with a time of 55.31. In the 200 freestyle, she posted a time of 2:03.96 at Southwestern to finish in third place. She posted a season-best 1:00.46 in the backstroke at the CCSA championship where she earned CCSA All-Academic Team honors.

2013-14 (Sophomore):  Hernandez swam a wide array of events including sprint freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and individual medley.  She won the 400-yard IM against Southwestern with a time of 4:55.13.  She was third in the same meet in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:20.14.  She was named to the CCSA All-Academic Team.

2012-13 (Freshman):  Hernandez was a CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American and nabbed RMAC Third Team honors in the 200 freestyle relay.  She swam a large number of individual races during her first year with the Cardinals entering freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke and individual medley events.  She posted top 10 times in school history in the 50 freestyle and 200 individual medley.

High School:  Hernandez was on the swim team at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.  She was on the honor roll her final three years.

Personal:  Hernandez is the daughter of Luis and Alexandria Hernandez and is studying international business with a minor in fashion management.  She has a brother, Nicolas.  She was born on September 5, 1992 in Bogota, Colombia.
