University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013-14 (Junior):  Ivic was one of four Cardinals to post 20 singles wins during the year.  He was named to the Southland Conference All-Academic first team.  He opened the year by winning the first flight at the Trinity Quad.  He played at No. 2 singles and put together an 8-match winning streak from February 1 through March 9.  He played 10 total three-set matches and was 4-6 in them.  He was 3-3 in conference play.  He played No. 1 doubles the entire season teaming with Jair Assuncao in the Fall and Josip Smoljan in the Spring.  Ivic led the team with 15 doubles victories and compiled a 15-12 mark to go with his 20-13 singles record.  The Ivic/Smoljan duo was excellent and compiled an 11-8 mark.  Ivic was named to the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2012-13 (Sophomore):  Ivic earned all-Lone Star Conference First Team honors in singles and doubles.  He played at #1 singles for most of the season and posted a 15-6 overall record.  In doubles, playing along side Aiden Deleon,  Ivic was 8-12 and one of the top doubles teams in the region.  He closed out the season going 10-2 in his final 12 singles matches.  The two losses came against NCAA Division I Thomas Panoulas of UT-Pan American and Jaume Martinez-Vich of #5 Hawaii-Pacific.  He won his singles match against Abilene Christian's Guilherme Gesser at #2 singles in an LSC Tournament matchup.  He was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous:  Ivic played one season at Laredo Community College.  He was an All-American and National Champion en route to leading LCC to a national title.

High School:  Ivic attended Economic Administration High School in Croatia.  He was on the tennis team.

Personal:  Ivic is the son of Kazimir and Nada Ivic and is studying international business with a minor in kinesiology.  He has four sisters. Ivic was born April 9, 1991.
