2013 (Junior):  Freeman battled through injuries and ended up missing a month of the season and made the move from shortstop to second base.  She went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in the season opener against UT-Permian Basin.  She had a huge game against Texas A&M-International going 4-for-5 with four runs, two RBI's and a stolen base.  She was 6-of-12 in a three-game series at Angelo State.  She had two hits, two runs, an RBI and her only triple of the season against Texas A&M-Kingsville.  She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2012 (Sophomore):  Freeman earned Honorable Mention All-Lone Star Conference and LSC All-Tournament Team honors at shortstop.  She went 7-for-12 with two doubles, a triple and four runs scored during the conference tournament.  She led the team with a .388 batting average and tied the school record with seven triples on the year.  She had a string of seven multi-hit games in an eight game span early in the year and was 18-of-28 in those games.  She went 3-for-4 with two triples and two runs scores against Trinity on Feb. 28.  She was 2-for-3 with two triples and four RBI's against Eastern New Mexico on Mar. 16.  She led the team with 20 multi-hit games and closed the year on a 10-game hitting streak.  She was a member of the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous:  Freeman was a second team all-conference shortstop at McLennan Community College.  She led the team to the NJCAA national tournament.  She graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

High School:  Freeman played basketball and softball at Smithson Valley High School.  She was a four-time first team all-district shortstop.  She was named to the All-State Super Team as a junior.  She led the team to four playoff appearances, four conference titles and the 2009 State championships.  She was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Freeman is the daughter of Joe and Heidi Freeman and is studying english with a minor in education.  She has a brother, Austin.  She was born on September 9, 1991.
